Man with the golden rage

Shah Rukh Khan thinks words that come out of an angry Javed Akhtar become golden words.
The superstar said this while shooting for the second episode of TED Talks India Nayi Soch that will be titled “Power of Words”. Shah Rukh improvised on stage and created his own introduction for speaker Javed Akhtar, who is very dear to him in real life.

A lesser-known fact that was revealed on the occasion was that Javed saab was supposed to be the lyricist of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. But he felt the title had double meanings and backed out. The superstar said the lyricist threw the title of the film in anger, which went on to become a blockbuster.
SRK said: “Whatever words Javed Akhtar throws in anger becomes golden words like the title of my film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.”
SRK, too, tried his hands at a couple of shayaris, one on his poet guest: “Jaise khilta gulaab, jaise Bachchan saab ka muh tod jawaab, jaise Urdu poetry ki best selling kitaab, jaise Oh well, Javed Akhtar saab”
As a part of the episode, viewers will see Shah Rukh challenging Javed saab to create a shayari on-the-spot with words “apple”, “cat” and “(you) know what i mean” (words from his speech). Being the master that he is, Javed saab crafted a
great shayari and those in the audience gave him a standing ovation.
